2. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made in the ciekawki.eu online store (the "Store") between the Seller and the customer (the "Customer"). By placing an order the Customer accepts these Terms. The contract is concluded in English by electronic means. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the Customer's country of residence remain unaffected.
3. Products and prices
The main characteristics of the products are described on the product pages; product images are illustrations. Prices are shown in the currency of the Customer's country and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before the order is placed. Bundle discounts (2 items −10%, 3 items −15%) are applied automatically in the cart. In the case of an obvious pricing error the Seller is not obliged to sell at the wrong price and will offer the Customer the correct price, which the Customer may decline.
4. Placing an order
- The Customer adds the chosen products to the cart.
- At checkout the Customer enters delivery and billing details and selects a shipping method.
- Entered details can be corrected at any time before the order is submitted.
- By clicking the pay button the Customer places a binding order with an obligation to pay.
- The Seller confirms the order by e-mail without delay. The contract is concluded on receipt of this confirmation.
5. Payment
Only online payment is available: card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), Apple Pay or Google Pay, processed through Shopify's secure payment system. The Seller does not see or store card details. Cash on delivery is not available.
6. Delivery
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery usually takes 6–12 business days depending on the destination country. Shipping is free above the threshold shown in the cart; otherwise the shipping fee shown at checkout applies. A tracking number is sent by e-mail. For deliveries outside the EU (e.g. United Kingdom, Norway) local import VAT or duties may apply where not collected at checkout. Details: Shipping & returns.
7. Right of withdrawal
Customers who are consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason (EU Directive 2011/83/EU and national law). In addition, the Seller voluntarily offers a 30-day return guarantee, which does not limit statutory rights.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform the Seller by a clear statement sent to kontakt@ciekawki.pl (the model form below may be used). The goods must be sent back within 14 days of the withdrawal notice to the address provided by the Seller. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the Customer. The Seller refunds all payments received, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal, using the original payment method. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or proof of return has been supplied. The Customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
8. Legal guarantee (conformity)
The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods with the contract that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, in accordance with EU Directive 2019/771 and the applicable national law. The Customer may request repair or replacement and, where this is not possible, a price reduction or termination of the contract. If a product is damaged or faulty, please send a photo to kontakt@ciekawki.pl – in most cases we offer an immediate replacement or refund.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints can be sent to kontakt@ciekawki.pl. We respond within 14 days. If a complaint cannot be resolved, the consumer may contact the competent consumer protection authority or the European Consumer Centre in their country (www.eccnet.eu), or bring the matter before the competent court.
10. Final provisions
These Terms are governed by the law of the Seller's country of establishment, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the consumer's country of residence. The Seller may amend these Terms; amendments do not affect orders already placed.
